Stillwater Central School District believes that participation in sports provides a wealth of opportunities and experiences on the playing field and in the classroom. The district offers students opportunities to participate in more than 12 sports across three seasons. Stillwater is a member of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association, competing in the Wasaren League as a member of Section 2.

All Stillwater Central School District sports schedules are now available online through rSchoolToday. Visitors can view and download all sports events scheduled for the day or individual team schedules by season. The Stillwater Athletic Hall of Fame was founded to recognize and honor the accomplishments of teams, coaches, athletes and supporters who have participated with distinction in Stillwater athletics and brought honor, distinction and excellence to the district community. The school district's fitness center is open to Stillwater residents on the following days and times:
The fitness center will not be open during school break. In the event that school is closed due to weather, the fitness center will be closed.
You are eligible to use the fitness center if you are a Stillwater resident (must show valid ID upon entering) and 18 years of age or older. Current Stillwater students in grades 9-12 are allowed to use the fitness center during these open times only if they are accompanied by a parent. All Stillwater High School students are also encouraged to access the fitness center during the school day or directly after school, Monday through Friday (during the school year only).
All residents who plan to use the fitness center must park in the back parking lot closest to the fitness center and Mike Lilac gymnasium (drive around the middle/high school building). In addition, there will be no babysitting services available at the school during open fitness center hours. Residents who use the fitness center are not allowed to bring children to wait inside the fitness center or outside of the facility in the school lobby or hallways. Parents are allowed to bring their children with them if they are in grades 9-12 only.
