Stillwater HS gym dedicated to long-time coach

December 8, 2011 – On Dec. 3, the new high school gymnasium was dedicated to Mike Lilac, who coached at Stillwater for over 35 years.

Lilac is perhaps most known for coaching varsity boys’ basketball at Stillwater. With 450 team wins, Lilac also led his team to win a state championship, two state semi-final appearances, three state regional appearances, and a number of sectional and league championships.
