Attendance Clerk/Receptionist (11-Month)

Description: The Stillwater Central School District is accepting applications for a 11-month Attendance Clerk/Receptionist.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and screening every visitor coming to the front entrance of the middle/high school building to ensure a safe environment
  • Serve as the student attendance clerk for the building; communicating with parents regarding the reason for student absenteeism; calling students to the office for early dismissal; working closely with building administrators to identify chronically absent students
  • Reviews submitted documents for registration to ensure district requirements are met before forwarding to the Assistant Principal for approval
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Principal on students experiencing homelessness to provide necessary resources
  • Other related duties as assigned

Elementary Principal

Description: The Stillwater Central School District is seeking a strong UPK – 5 Principal candidate with a child-centered orientation and a proven record of demonstrated instructional excellence as a teacher and/or administrator. Minimum Qualifications: NYS School Building Leader

Preferred Qualifications: Experience as an elementary building leader, classroom experience

Salary: $105K – $115k

Start Date: Anticipated start date of Aug. 13, 2026, apply on OLAS by July 5, 2026.

Extended School Year (ESY) Positions

  • Special Education Teachers – $38.04/hr.
  • Teaching Assistant – $17.78/hr.
  • School Aides – $16.54/hr.

*rates are pending settlement of the CSEA and STA contracts

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: Stillwater Central School District is looking for special education teachers, school aides, and teaching assistants to staff the summer program (Extended School Year). The program runs from Monday to Friday for six weeks, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily. Teachers are paid up to an additional 40 minutes daily for planning. The dates will run from July 6 to Aug. 14.

Requirements/Qualifications: Qualified candidates should apply on OLAS and submit a complete application. A complete application will consist of a cover letter, updated resume, transcripts, three letters of reference, and proof of certification.

Substitutes Are Needed

Do you have an interest in working with children in your own community and shaping tomorrow’s leaders today? Like other school districts, we are in need of filling key positions for grades K-12 so that we can maintain our high standards of education for our students. Throughout the year, our district seeks the following substitute positions (please note corresponding level of education):

  • Substitute Teachers, 4-year degree or higher
  • Substitute Teacher Assistant, 2-year degree or higher
  • Substitute Bus Drivers, CDL training provided, paid training after permit earned
  • Substitute Classroom Aides, HS diploma or equivalent
  • Substitute Lunch Aides, HS diploma or equivalent
  • Substitute Recess Aides, HS diploma or equivalent

We have positions available for all levels of education, availability and area of interest. We will pay for the cost of mandatory fingerprinting associated with working in schools.
