2018-19 Salary $29,321.13 – Per CSEA Contract

K-12 Pupil Personnel Director

The position provides direction and oversight for leadership and coordination of all aspects of pupil personnel services: medical and health services, psychological and social work services, speech/hearing/assistive technology and special education. Seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Valid NYS Certification SDL or SDA
  • Experience as a teacher and 3 or more years as an administrator

Position overview:

The position includes specific leadership, programming, personnel and fiscal oversight. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversight of the operation and compliance of the Committee on Special
    Education (CSE) and Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE)
  • Develop and oversee K-12 instructional program to meet the needs of
    students with special education services
  • Prepare and oversee all related service contracts, consultant contracts and
    service delivery
  • Oversee Medicaid compliance
  • Create opportunities for K-12 pupil services professional development
  • Oversee special education/pupil services hiring, staffing and extended
    school year services
  • Oversee special education faculty supervision
  • Oversee state reporting per SED guidelines
  • Consult and oversee STAC billing

Start Date: Feb. 25, 2019
Work Year: 12-Month position
Salary: Minimum starting salary of $92,000

School Psychologist (K-12)

10 month position, summer hours per the STA Contract

Requirements: Must have current NYS Education  Department – School Psychologist Certification


  • Complete psycho-educational evaluations as well as re-evaluations in accordance with NYS Regulations
  • Complete functional behavioral assessments and coordinating the development of Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Participate in 504/RTI/CSE meetings
  • Other duties as assigned by the district and building administration
