School Aide – IT Department (10 Month Position)

Qualifications: HS Diploma/Equivalency required

Responsibilities: 

  • Managing the District Copy Center inclusive of being trained to operate (3) district high volume copiers.
  • Must be able to lift at least 25+ lbs.
  • Requires walking with a hand cart between buildings on campus for deliveries.
  • Ordering supplies.

Elementary School Principal

Position: The Stillwater Central School District is seeking a strong UPK-5 Principal candidate with a child-centered orientation and a proven record of demonstrated instructional excellence as a teacher and/or administrator. The successful candidate will have a clear vision for the future of Stillwater Elementary School, along with a diverse skill set which includes:

  • Successful experience in instructional leadership
  • Teacher evaluation (APPR)
  • Knowledge of current curriculum standards, best practices and upcoming shifts
  • Instructional technology and Data Driven Instruction (DDI)
  • Promotion of an inclusive atmosphere for all
  • Possession of highly effective communication skills
  • The ability to establish and maintain trusting, effective working relationships with all school and community stakeholders
  • Consistent, confident leadership

Position is 12 months and is a member of the Stillwater Administrators Association.

Salary: commensurate with experience, preparation and qualifications (minimum starting salary of $90,000).

Start Date: Anticipated start date is February 12, 2019.

Requirements: NYS Administrative Certification Required (SDA, SDL, SBL, SAS).

School Psychologist (K-12)

10 Month, summer hours per the STA Contract

Requirements: Must have current NYS Education  Department – School Psychologist Certification

Responsibilities:

  • Completing Psycho-Educational evaluations  as well as re-evaluations in accordance with  NYS Regulations
  • Completing Functional Behavioral assessments and coordinating the development of Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Participation in 504/RTI/CSE meetings
  • Other duties as assigned by the District and Building Administration
