Director of Facilities II

This position is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the operation, maintenance and repair of the Stillwater Central School District facilities department. The work is performed according to established policies and procedures and in accordance with applicable state, local, and federal laws, rules and regulations which apply to school district facility operations and maintenance. Although certain activities are performed in the office, the incumbent of this position will, on occasion, be required to perform maintenance and repair related tasks and activities, which may be performed indoors or outdoors under adverse working conditions. Does related work as required.

** This position will be filled on a provisional basis pending the results of a Civil Service examination to be scheduled at a later date **

Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma (GED) AND one of the following:

A. Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered four-year college with an Bachelor’s Degree or higher in School Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture and two (2) years of full-time paid experience in school facilities maintenance, general building construction, building maintenance or repair work, or construction management, one year of which must have been at a supervisory level; OR

B. Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered two-year college with an Associate’s Degree or higher in School Facilities Management, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Building Construction Technology or Architecture Technology and four (4) years of full-time paid experience in school facilities maintenance, general building construction, building maintenance or repair work, or construction management, one year of which must have been at a supervisory level; OR

C. Six (6) years of full-time paid experience in school facilities maintenance, general building construction, building maintenance or repair work, or construction management, one year of which must have been at a supervisory level.

D. Possess and maintain a New York State Driver’s License

Salary Range:
$75,000 – $90,000 Based on experience

Positions for the Extended School Year Program for Elementary, Middle and High School in Special Education for Students with Disabilities

Anticipated positions:
– Occupational Therapist (based upon specific student IEPs) (.5-1)
– Physical Therapist (anticipated based upon specific student IEPs)
– Speech-Language Pathologist (based upon specific student IEPs) (1)
– Special Education Teachers (5)
– Teaching Assistants (4)
– Teacher Aides (3)
– Nurse (1)

Details:
Stillwater CSD summer programs in the elementary, middle and high schools for students with disabilities. The program runs Monday through Friday for 6 weeks from 8:30am-11:30am daily. Teachers are paid 30 minutes daily for planning, and are required to be present from 8:15am-11:45am.

Start Date:
Monday July 5, 2021 (Independence Day Observed) / Start program on Tuesday July 6, 2021~ Friday August 13, 2021

Salary:
Commensurate with experience
Per CSEA Agreement – Aides $13.47/hr.
Per STA Agreement – Teachers $35.15/hr.
Per STA Agreement – Teaching Assistants $14.99/hr.
