Position: School Aide – (Two positions)

Description: Stillwater Central School District is seeking two school aides to provide direct support to students who need additional supervision throughout their day. The candidate will be expected to collaborate with the student’s teacher and other school staff to provide experiences that will integrate the student into our school community. The candidate must be flexible, positive, and enjoy working with exceptional and diverse children.

Salary: $19,310/per year

Position: Social Worker – Full year Leave of Absence Building – Elementary

Description: Stillwater Central School District is looking for a social worker with knowledge and skills to support students, teachers, and systems through the implementation of behavior support as well as provide short term counseling through MTSS. This individual should possess skills in student observation, classroom dynamics, and modeling and coaching positive behavior strategies. Candidates must have experience with coordinating functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans. Knowledge of crisis management is preferred.

Salary: Per STA Agreement

Position: Teaching Assistant (Elementary)

Description: Stillwater Central Schol District is looking to hire a Teaching Assistant who will provide direct instructional services to students under the general supervision of a New York State-certified teacher. This position will support the educational needs of students with IEPs in a special class setting. Candidates should be flexible and enjoy working with students with behavioral and emotional challenges, learning disabilities, and Autism.

Salary: Per STA Agreement $25,000

Substitutes Are Needed

Do you have an interest in working with children in your own community and shaping tomorrow’s leaders today? Like other school districts, we are in need of filling key positions for grades K-12 so that we can maintain our high standards of education for our students. Throughout the year, our district seeks the following substitute positions (please note corresponding level of education):

  • Substitute Teachers, 4-year degree or higher
  • Substitute Teacher Assistant, 2-year degree or higher
  • Substitute Bus Drivers, CDL training provided, paid training after permit earned
  • Substitute Classroom Aides, HS diploma or equivalent
  • Substitute Lunch Aides, HS diploma or equivalent
  • Substitute Recess Aides, HS diploma or equivalent

We have positions available for all levels of education, availability and area of interest. We will pay for the cost of mandatory fingerprinting associated with working in schools.
