While receiving PILOT money is beneficial for school districts in the long run, Stillwater officials expect to be “penalized” for it in 2012-13 because of the way these funds are factored into the new tax levy cap formula. New online assessments planned for students

Beginning in January, students in grades 3-10 (excluding sixth grade) will take online tests called Measures of Academic Progress ™ (MAP), which are designed to measure academic growth in the areas of reading, language and math. Full story
