The Stillwater Central School District offers a Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program that will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning in fall 2023. The program is currently housed in a classroom at Stillwater Elementary School.
A child is eligible if he/she resides within the school district and is 4 years of age on or before December 1 of the year in which he/she is enrolled in the program.
The UPK program introduces students to concepts that will help prepare them for kindergarten, including working on gross and fine motor skills, and social and emotional development.
Registration for the UPK program typically takes place in March. A birth certificate and proofs of residency are required to register your child. Phone registrations will not be accepted. Visit the registrar page for additional information.
The Stillwater UPK Program will be limited to 18 students. If more students register, a lottery will be held. Attendance at the lottery is not required.
Please call the Stillwater Elementary School Office at (518) 373-6100, ext. 31000, with any questions.
