The Stillwater Central School District offers a half-day Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program that serves 28 children. The program is currently housed in a classroom at Stillwater Elementary School.
A child is eligible if he/she resides within the school district, and is 4 years of age on or before December 1 of the year in which he/she is enrolled in the program.
The UPK program introduces students to concepts that will help prepare them for kindergarten, including working on gross and fine motor skills, and social and emotional development.
Registration for the UPK program typically takes place in March. A birth certificate and proofs of residency are required to register your child. Phone registrations will not be accepted. Visit the registrar page for additional information.
The Stillwater UPK Program is limited to 28 students. Should more than 28 students register, a lottery will be held in the elementary school library. Attendance at the lottery is not required.
Please call the Stillwater Elementary School Office at (518) 373-6100, ext. 31000 if you have any questions.
