SCSD moving to ParentSquare for all school communications

ParentSquare Logo

Dear Stillwater CSD Families,

I hope you are having an amazing summer. The District is excited to announce our new platform for school-to-home communication called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep families informed and engaged with all school news. It will create a “one stop shop” for all district communication needs, eliminating other platforms such as Remind and ClassDojo. It also provides a safe and secure way for district administrators, teachers, staff and parents to:

  • Send and receive school and class information (in a preferred language)
  • Share pictures and files, including being able to securely receive report cards,
  • IEPs and other important student documents
  • View the district and classroom calendars
  • RSVP to events
  • Schedule parent-teacher conferences
  • and much more… in one central location!

All district, grade level and classroom information will now be sent to your email and/or text using ParentSquare. For even more convenience, download the ParentSquare app (available for free for iOS and Android devices).

Since SCSD is moving to ParentSquare, please log into SchoolTool and make sure your email, phone number and home address are accurate. All ParentSquare information will be sent to the email addresses and phone numbers that are stored in SchoolTool. All messages sent via SchoolMessenger will end on September 6, so it’s important to register your ParentSquare account before this date.

You will soon receive an invitation email or text to join ParentSquare. Please click the link to activate your account. You can also get started with ParentSquare by logging into the platform using your email that is in SchoolTool to view this “Getting Started” video.

Have questions? Click the question mark in the top right corner of the desktop version or the “Help” tab on the app (tap the triple bar icon at the top left) to find answers to most of your questions. We will also be creating a webpage with ParentSquare information that will be released in the next few days.

Thank you,

Patricia Morris
Superintendent
