Stillwater High School students recognized in National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame Art Exhibition

In a venue that celebrates champions and their achievements, two students in Samantha Conboy’s Advanced Drawing and Painting courses at Stillwater High School placed in the annual Win, Place, Show: The Annual Student Art Exhibition at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame.

Seniors Ramseyes Gillie and Ella Barnett had their artwork selected from hundreds of submissions. Ramseyes earned recognition for Runaway, while Ella’s Freedom also placed in the competition. Artwork by Anastasia Isgro, Bryan Maynard, Grady Brookover, Riley Stack and Kaden Burdo was also featured in the exhibition.

On Friday, April 17, Mrs. Conboy and the student artists visited the museum to view 50 works created by students from across New York, on display in the museum’s Von Stade Gallery.

Ramseyes and Ella were also interviewed by The Good Stuff Show, produced by Bright Sided Media, which recognizes and celebrates students doing exceptional work throughout the Capital Region.

Congratulations to all student artists for their outstanding work!
