Varsity basketball teams advance to Class C semifinals

Due to inclement weather, the girls varsity basketball Class C semifinal game originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, has been rescheduled to Thursday, March 5, at 6 p.m. at Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC). Tickets for the game can be purchased online here.


Congratulations to the boys and girls varsity basketball teams on their sectional quarterfinal victories on Friday, Feb. 27!

The boys’ team took on Duanesburg at Guilderland High School, besting their opponent 61-39 to advance to the Class C semifinals on Monday, March 2. They will face Saratoga Catholic at Harding Mazzotti Arena at 5 p.m.

The girls’ team took on Maple Hill at home and emerged with a 65-39 win to secure their spot in the semifinals. They will play Berne-Knox-Westerlo on Wednesday, March 4, at 6 p.m. at Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC).

Tickets are required for entry to both games. For the boys’ varsity basketball game against Saratoga Catholic on Monday, March 2, tickets can be purchased at the arena box office. 

Tickets for the girls varsity basketball game on Wednesday, March 4, can be purchased online here. Children 12 and under are free for this game. Please note that all tickets are digital—printed tickets and cash sales will be unavailable at the door.
