Elementary School Building Substitute
Description: Stillwater CSD is accepting applications for an Elementary School Building Substitute. The successful candidate will report daily to the Elementary building and provide substitute coverage for faculty. The position may also include additional duties as assigned as based on the needs of the administration on any given day. Qualified candidates must submit a complete application on OLAS. A complete application will consist of a resume, a cover letter specific to this position and applicable certification. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
Salary: $175 per day – for applicants with teaching certification

Middle School Building Substitute
Description: Stillwater CSD is accepting applications for a Middle School Building Substitute. The successful candidate will report daily to the MS building and provide substitute coverage for faculty. The position may also include additional duties such as hallway, study hall and/or cafeteria supervision based on the needs of the administration on any given day. Qualified candidates must submit a complete application on OLAS. A complete application will consist of a resume, a cover letter specific to this position and applicable certification. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
Salary: $175 per day – for applicants with teaching certification

Counselor, Social Worker or Psychologist
Description: Stillwater CSD is accepting applications for a counselor position. The successful candidate will work with both middle and high school students, collaborating closely with building administrators to support student well-being and reduce disciplinary referrals and exclusionary outcomes. Applicants must hold or be eligible for New York State certification in one of the following areas: School Psychologist, School Social Worker, or School Counselor. Interested candidates must submit a complete application through OLAS. A complete application will consist of a resume, a cover letter specific to this position, recommendations and applicable certification. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
Salary: Per STA contract

School Aide (2 Positions)
Description: Stillwater CSD is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 10-month school aide to join our team and provide essential support to students with special needs. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our students receive the support they need to succeed academically, socially and emotionally. There are two positions currently open.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with special needs in a variety of instructional settings
- Assisting students with academic tasks, classroom participation, and transitions throughout the day
- Helping implement accommodations and modifications as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Promoting positive behavior and fostering independence
- Assisting with personal care tasks as needed (training provided)
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with children, especially in a school or special education setting, preferred
- Patience, flexibility, and a commitment to helping all students succeed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
Salary: $19,889

Teaching Assistants
Description: Stillwater CSD is looking to hire teaching assistants who will provide direct instructional services to students under the general supervision of a New York State-certified teacher. Current open positions will support the educational needs of our youngest learners and those students with IEPs. Candidates should be flexible and enjoy working across a variety of settings to help all children achieve their goals. * Assignment may change from year to year.
Qualifications: Candidates must be certified as a Teaching Assistant.
Salary: $25,500

Bus Monitor
Description: Stillwater CSD is looking to hire a Bus Monitor to assist the driver with students on the bus.
Salary: $15,300

Substitutes Are Needed
Do you have an interest in working with children in your own community and shaping tomorrow’s leaders today? Like other school districts, we are in need of filling key positions for grades K-12 so that we can maintain our high standards of education for our students. Throughout the year, our district seeks the following substitute positions (please note corresponding level of education):
- Substitute Teachers, 4-year degree or higher
- Substitute Teacher Assistant, 2-year degree or higher
- Substitute Bus Drivers, CDL training provided, paid training after permit earned
- Substitute Classroom Aides, HS diploma or equivalent
- Substitute Lunch Aides, HS diploma or equivalent
- Substitute Recess Aides, HS diploma or equivalent
We have positions available for all levels of education, availability and area of interest. We will pay for the cost of mandatory fingerprinting associated with working in schools.
