District to test ParentSquare “urgent alert” feature tomorrow, Jan. 5 at 3 p.m.

Happy New Year and welcome back! We hope everyone enjoyed the holiday break and took time to relax and recharge.

Back in September, Stillwater Central School District transitioned to ParentSquare for all district communication needs. In the event of an emergency school closure or delay, the district will send an “urgent alert” to all families and staff, which includes a phone call, email communication and text message.

To prepare for any upcoming inclement weather, SCSD is sending a TEST urgent alert tomorrow, Jan. 5 at 3 p.m. to ensure all families and staff are able to receive school closure/delay notices. Families should expect a phone call, email and text message during this time.

If you do not receive an urgent alert or have any questions about ParentSquare urgent alerts, please contact Natalie Rowan, SCSD Communications Specialist at nrowan@scsd.org.
