Elementary School only will be virtual Jan. 12

January 11, 2022

Dear Elementary Parents/Guardians,

As you have seen, the rates of COVID have increased dramatically over the last few weeks both nationally and here in Stillwater. Due to the fact that we have over 10% of our students in isolation and quarantine as well as a significant number of staff members, Stillwater Elementary will need to switch to a virtual learning day tomorrow, Wednesday, January 12, 2022. As of now, it is for one day only, for the Elementary School only.

Your child will come home with his/her device today. Teachers will teach remotely from school and a schedule will be sent to you or your child through either SeeSaw or Google Classroom. We understand fully that this presents challenges, and our goal is always to remain in person for instruction.

As a reminder, if your child is feeling sick or showing any signs of illness to include fever, headache, or vomiting, please keep them home and communicate with our nurse. Additionally, if your child has been exposed to COVID-19 or tests positive, please communicate this to our nurse or me.

As always, please reach out with any questions you may have. Thank you for your support during these challenging times.

Respectfully,
Rebecca Toleman
Elementary Principal
