Long-Term Leave Replacement – School Psychologist (Elementary School)

Description: Stillwater CSD is seeking a qualified and dedicated School Psychologist to serve as a long-term leave replacement at Stillwater Elementary School (Grades K–5). This position primarily involves conducting initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students in grades K–5, with some counseling responsibilities as assigned. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Administering and interpreting a variety of psychological and educational assessments
  • Preparing comprehensive, legally defensible psychological reports
  • Participating in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Providing individual or small-group counseling as needed
  • Consulting with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Maintaining accurate records and adhering to timelines and procedural requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State certification as a School Psychologist (required)
  • Strong skills in data interpretation and report writing
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Demonstrated flexibility and professionalism in a dynamic school environment
  • A commitment to being a strong advocate for students with disabilities

Salary: $175/day (Jan. 15, 2026 – April 10, 2026)
$130/Shadow Days

Length of Position: Jan. 15, 2026 – April 10, 2026 (*Shadowing of position to start Jan. 8, 2026)

School Aide 1:1 (10-Month)

Description: Stillwater CSD is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 School Aide (10-month) to join our team and provide essential support to a student with medical needs. The candidate will be patient, flexible and eager to build a connection with the student.

Salary: $19,889

Bus Drivers (3 Positions)

Salary: $21,508

Description: Stillwater CSD is looking to hire a Bus Monitor to assist the driver with students on the bus.

Salary: $15,300

Substitutes Are Needed

Do you have an interest in working with children in your own community and shaping tomorrow’s leaders today? Like other school districts, we are in need of filling key positions for grades K-12 so that we can maintain our high standards of education for our students. Throughout the year, our district seeks the following substitute positions (please note corresponding level of education):

  • Substitute Teachers, 4-year degree or higher
  • Substitute Teacher Assistant, 2-year degree or higher
  • Substitute Bus Drivers, CDL training provided, paid training after permit earned
  • Substitute Classroom Aides, HS diploma or equivalent
  • Substitute Lunch Aides, HS diploma or equivalent
  • Substitute Recess Aides, HS diploma or equivalent

We have positions available for all levels of education, availability and area of interest. We will pay for the cost of mandatory fingerprinting associated with working in schools.
