The winter sports season was a striking success for Stillwater Central School District, as four teams and 29 students were recognized by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) as scholar-athletes.
To qualify as a scholar-athlete team, at least 75% of a team’s roster must have a grade-point average (GPA) of 90 or higher. Individual students can also achieve scholar-athlete status by maintaining a GPA of 90.0 or above.
