Reminders from the superintendent – March 18

Dear Stillwater Community,

As we continue to work through each day as a community, there are some important reminders that I wanted to share with you today:

  • If a family does not have a device to access instructional materials, Chromebooks are being distributed until 2:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 18
    • Elementary school pick up will be at elementary main entrance
    • Middle/high school pick up will be at the Lilac gym lobby
  • After 2:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 18, building access will be limited to school personnel ONLY.
  • The district is providing free breakfast and lunch to any current student in the Stillwater Central School District. More information can be found here.
  • UPK-grade 5 instructional resource packets have been mailed home.
  • Students in grades 6-12 will be sent codes to their teachers’ Google classrooms by Monday, March 23. All students must be able to access their Stillwater Gmail account in order to receive the codes from their teacher. If your student cannot access his/her Stillwater email account, please contact Chris Lynch at clynch@scsd.org or by phone at (518) 373-6100, ext. 30205.

Each day brings something new, but we will get through this together. As a reminder, we have some social/emotional resources on our district website to help our families through this time. I will continue to provide you with updates as often as possible.

Thank you for your support,

Patricia Morris
Superintendent of Schools
