SCSD honors retirees and newly tenured educators for 2025-26

On Wednesday, June 10, the Stillwater Central School District recognized 19 employees at the Board of Education meeting for their hard work and dedication, honoring 10 educators who earned tenure and nine employees who are retiring.

Recognition of newly tenured educators

The Stillwater Board of Education officially awarded tenure to 10 educators at the June 10 ceremony. Each of these staff members has demonstrated distinguished abilities and met high standards for continued contributions and outstanding performance.

Recognition of retirees

Nine dedicated Stillwater employees are retiring this year with more than 198 years of collective service to our students, schools and community. We are profoundly grateful for their contributions and years of dedicated service. Their work will continue to have a positive impact on our district, and their unwavering effort and commitment to excellence are part of what makes Stillwater the community it is today.

“We congratulate all of you who have received tenure tonight and are retiring,” said Stillwater Board of Education President Valerie Masterson.

“Best of luck on your next chapter. Congratulations to all.”

The recognition included special introductions for each retiree from their building principals, highlighting their years of service, remarkable accomplishments and impact on SCSD and its various stakeholders.
