Senior Madison Krochina receives AASBA Community Service Award

Stillwater senior Madison Krochina was recently selected as an Adirondack Area School Boards (AASBA) Community Service Award winner. She was one of 27 area seniors who were nominated by AASBA member school districts for their outstanding community service. All of the students were honored at a dinner on Thursday, May 3.

Madison is an active member of the community and was nominated by Stillwater Central School District. She has volunteered for the Saratoga Battlefield, Stillwater Central School District, Stillwater Food Pantry, American Red Cross, the New York State Museum, and The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY.

At Stillwater, Madison is a member of the indoor and outdoor track and field teams, National Honor Society, Web Club, Varsity Club and Key Club.

All students who were honored received a $250 scholarship from AASBA. Congratulations, Madison!
