Stillwater superintendent among 31 chief school officers calling for immediate NYS guidance on in-person learning, reopening

Stillwater Superintendent of Schools Patricia Morris is among 31 chief school officers in the Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex (WSWHE) BOCES region who are calling upon New York State Health Commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker to provide immediate guidance for in-person learning in relation to COVID-19 from NYSDOH so they can determine the next
best steps in defining how to fully reopen area schools.

The superintendents are seeking guidance on areas including transportation, distancing, remote learning, testing, masking, and athletics. The full letter, which was sent on their behalf by WSWHE BOCES District Superintendent James P. Dexter, can be found here.
