Stillwater Trap Team expands roster, sharpens skills in third season

The Stillwater Trap Team is in its third season and aims high with 27 student-athletes on the roster, the largest since the program’s inception. Over the last several weeks, members have focused on building strong fundamentals in firearm safety, range etiquette, teamwork and sportsmanship while honing their trap shooting skills. 

As the season unfolds, coaches are working with student-athletes on advanced shooting principles and consistency. From first-year participants to returning veterans, head coach Chuck Law said it has been “exciting to see members’ confidence and abilities progress” each week.

The team practices at the Sportsman’s Club of Clifton Park and consistently emphasizes its core values: safety, fun and marksmanship.
