Superintendent’s message about impact of increased COVID cases

May 6, 2022

Dear Stillwater Community,

As you are aware, our elementary school shifted to remote learning yesterday due to COVID-19-related staff shortages. We were happy to welcome back our students for in-person learning today.

We will continue to monitor the increase in COVID-19 cases in our county and provide you with as much advance notice as we can of any impact upon our schools. We understand that shifting to remote instruction, while an option of last resort, can present challenges for our families, and we truly appreciate your support and understanding.

We also thank you for your ongoing efforts in helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keeping our school community safe and healthy.

As always, if you have a question regarding symptoms or protocols, please reach out to our COVID-19 Team. If we do not have the answer, we will connect with the Department of Health to get it for you. Thank you again.

Sincerely,
Patricia Morris
Superintendent of Schools
