Winter high-risk sports sign-ups now open

On Friday, Jan. 22, the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) released  interim guidance for sports and recreation which included the following: Schools can only participate in high-risk sports (contact practice, games, competitions, etc.) if approval is provided by local health authorities (i.e., County Department of Health).

Please note, we are still awaiting a decision on winter high-risk sports from Saratoga County. However, if we get clearance, we will be able to potentially play beginning Monday, Feb. 1. We will offer an abbreviated season/schedule for the following:

  • Boys Varsity Basketball
  • Boys JV Basketball
  • Girls Varsity Basketball
  • Girls JV Basketball
  • Varsity/JV Wrestling
  • Varsity Cheer

In order to be ready to go for Feb. 1, registration for these sports is now open on Family ID.

All athletes will need to create an account and complete the online registration through Family ID. View instructions on how to register here.

If you already have an account, please use the same username and password and your information will automatically populate.

Please be aware that the sign up window is 30 days. If you have any questions, please contact Athletic Director Mike Kinney at mkinney@scsd.org.
