Congratulations to senior Nick Mayo on winning the Section 2 Class CC title at 195 pounds. Seeded second, Nick held on for a 2-1 decision against the #3 seed and then defeated the #1 seed in the finals by a score of 12-4.

With the win, Nick earned a spot in the Section 2 state qualifier this coming weekend. Also earning a spot in that tournament was junior Justyn Kovalsky, who was a finalist at 285 pounds.

Other place finishers were Alexis LaFountain, 5th place at 99 pounds and Jake Richardson, 6th place at 182 pounds.
