Update from the superintendent – Thursday, April 16

Dear Stillwater Families,

Earlier today, Governor Andrew Cuomo extended school closures through Friday, May 15. As promised, I wanted to keep you informed of the latest update. We will continue to provide meals for families and remote instruction for students through the duration of the closure. More information can be found on our district website.

Again, I want to thank you all for your cooperation, patience and understanding during this time that is very difficult for us all. I know you are all doing the best you can and will continue to do so. This is a time of unprecedented uncertainty for us all. I want to remind you that we are here for you and your family and we want to help in any way we can. If you need any academic help, please reach out to your child’s school principal.

I understand many families are concerned about end of the year events and activities. Please know that we are thinking ahead about potential options and we will keep you posted as we know more.

As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns.

We are Stillwater Strong!

Sincerely,

Patricia Morris
Superintendent of Schools
