Programs and Services

Personal Safety Education (Grades K–3): A three to four-week program focusing on personal safety, including topics like recognizing feelings, stranger danger, internet safety, and abuse prevention.

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS): A school-wide initiative promoting positive behavior through incentives like “Stillwater Bucks” and “Warrior All Stars.”​

Stillwater Get Together: Monthly gatherings that reinforce expected behaviors and foster a sense of community among students.​

Small Group Sessions: Targeted support groups addressing social skills, coping strategies, and emotional regulation, tailored to student needs.​

Individual Counseling: Personalized support for students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges, with referrals from teachers, parents, or self-initiated.​

Attendance Support Plans: Collaborative plans involving students, parents, and counselors to address attendance issues and connect families with community resources.​

Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Programs:

  • Emotional ABCs: An evidence-based curriculum teaching children to manage emotions effectively.​
  • GoZen: Tools and programs designed to help children cope with anxiety and build resilience.​

Substance Abuse Prevention (Grade 5): “Too Good for Drugs” program educating students on making healthy choices and understanding the risks associated with substance use.​

Referral Process

There are several ways that a student can be referred to meet with the SAC:

  • Students may refer themselves.​
  • The faculty member may refer
  • Parent may refer
